SHAMBHALA ARTS FESTIVAL 2008
March 14th and 15th

This year's Shambhala Arts Festival will be a smaller more intimate affair. The events will take place in the Shrine Room. The schedule for this year includes:
1. an exhibit of current art work by sangha members
2. a film screening on Friday eventing at 7:30pm
3. a poetry reading and music performance on Saturday evening
4. possibly a children's art program on Saturday afternoon

I would ask those of you who are interested in displaying your art this year please contact me either by phone 619.865.5194 or by email pverdicchio@yahoo.com...I would like to receive the work at least a week in advance and have the show up by March 7th...thank you

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS TO SHAMBHALA ARTS FESTIVAL EXHIBITION MARCH, 2007

Every year Shambhala Centers around the world celebrate the Arts. 2007 marks the second such occasion for our San Diego sangha. The San Diego Shambhala Arts Festival will take place during the weekend of March 16, 17, 18 2007. As part of the celebrations we are organizing an Art Exhibit in the gallery space at the front of 3139 University Avenue. If you are an artist please submit your work in any medium for consideration to Pasquale Verdicchio by Wednesday, February 7th. The submissions can be dropped off on any Sunday directly at the Shambhala Center or by other arrangements through Pasquale (pverdicchio@yahoo.com or 619 865 5194). The exhibition will be installed at the beginning of March in time for the Ray at Night walkabout and will remain on display for the month of March.
